**The CPDA membership year runs from June 1 to May 31. Renewal is available from June 1 to August 31 at regular price. Renewal from September 1 to May 31 will be automatically assessed a $5 late fee. Membership Categories

  • Active Member - Must have current ADA membership
  • Student Member - Undergraduate, graduate student, or dietetic intern; must have current ADA membership
  • Only ADA active members receive the reduced rate for membership meetings, are eligible to vote in elections, and may hold office.
  • Only ADA members are eligible for CPDA membership.

Donation Programs

CPDA Scholarship

The Central Pennsylvania Dietetic Association awards students and interns with a scholarship to be used towards education expenses. The Scholarship is awarded to an applicant that is currently enrolled in an American Dietetic Association-accredited or approved supervised practice program, or in an advanced degree program that promotes the advancement of dietetics. All applicants are members of the ADA and members of CPDA for the current year.

Central PA Food Bank

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank distributes more than 15 million pounds of food and grocery products every year to more than 500 soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries in 27 central Pennsylvania counties.

Pennsylvania Dietetic Association Foundation

The Pennsylvania Dietetic Association Foundation (PADAF) is the philanthropic arm of the PADA. It is a 501C (3) non-profit organization devoted exclusively to nutrition and dietetics.

The Foundation funds scholarships and awards education and research projects that promote optimal nutrition, health, and well being of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
